C.Y.F.L Goes Cup Final Crazy! (24/03/06)
On the Essex Cup scene, C.Y.F.L. teams have gone two better than last season by securing places in three County Cup Finals. Corringham Athletic meet Thurrock at Great Wakering Rovers this Sunday (kick-off 3:00pm) in the Final of the Essex Cordell Under 13s Cup), while Romford Borough Youth look to win their second County title in three years as they compete for the Essex Rosser Under 15s Cup at Maldon Town F.C. on Sunday 30th April (kick-off 10:30am). Billericay Town Colts are also through to meet David Beckham's old club Ridgeway Rovers in the Essex Andrews Under 14s Cup Final with the date, time and venue still to be finalised. The League wish all these teams well on their way to possible cup success and hope you do our competition proud. Meanwhile, in Representative Football action, the Chelmsford Youth League Under 11s meet Peterborough in the Final of the East Anglian Inter-League Youth Competition on Sunday 23rd April (kick-off 1:00pm) while the Under 15s and Under 16s have their days out on Sunday 14th May against Royston (kick-off 3:30pm) and Milton Keynes (10:30am) respectively. All East Anglian Finals take place at Saffron Walden Town F.C. Good luck to all involved! |
